No, all tickets for Hanami ant Hakone Night Viewing, presented by NETGEAR, must be purchased in advance, online. Go to hakone.com to purchase tickets.

Can I use the tickets for Hanami at Hakone, presented by NETGEAR, anytime?

Accepted Answer

No, tickets are sold for specific days and times. You must come on day and time stated on your ticket. The reason is to control the number of visitors, and the flow of the parking lot.

If I purchase a ticket for the daytime admission, can I use that same ticket for the Night Viewing?

Accepted Answer

No, the daytime admission and Night Viewing are two separate events. The gardens will close at 5:00 PM for the daytime admissions. The gardens will then reopen at 5:30 PM for those visitors with tickets for the Night Viewing.

What happens if there are no Cherry Blossoms when I visit?

We cannot guarantee when the Cherry Blossoms will be in bloom. However, the gardens are beautiful in the evening because we have set up additional lighting. The gardens are not typically open to the public for evening viewings.

Can we bring food and drinks into the gardens for the Night Viewings?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you may bring food and drinks, but it must be consumed in the Picnic Area. The Picnic Area will be open on a first-come, first-served basis. The Picnic Area cannot be reserved, and visitors are limited to no longer than one hour
