Two options: Group A will return back to the store at 1:00pm with folks who have completed their Haiku. Group B will depart at 1:30pm for folks who may need more time to complete their Haiku.

Join us and Write Around Portland for an interative Haiku workshop in nature.

Starting at our Portland store on 23rd ave, we head into the nearby Forest Park to soak up inspiration for the Haiku. Following the hike we gather in Washington Park by the Rose Garden where instructors from Write Around will guide you in the writing process, leaving you with a unqiue and personal Haiku.

We will offer light refreshements and snacks before and after the the hike, as well as a special Snow Peak suprise item. Following the hike, our restaurant Takibi will offer 20% off to attendees that may want to dine-in for lunch.

  • Drafting materials that you can keep such as writing pens, and a small notebook.
  • A finished Haiku on nice poster paper.
