In this unique hybrid workshop, Steve Stringer and Sian Camille invite you to craft an original haiku—then eternalize it on a ceramic altar.
We’ll begin with a reflective writing session led by Sian focused on distilling language into something sacred: three lines, seventeen syllables, a small truth made visible.
Then, under Steve’s guidance, you’ll “tattoo” your haiku in your own handwriting onto a pre-made ceramic altar designed to hold a tealight.
The result: a tangible vessel for your voice and intention. A home for memory, ritual, and devotion.
No prior experience with writing or ceramics is needed—just a desire to make something meaningful. Altars will be glazed, fired, and available to pick-up 2-3 weeks after the workshop.
