Habitat for Humanity of Dane County is excited to host Habitat on the Square! This public block-party style event invites attendees to learn about Habitat’s mission during the Dane County Farmers’ Market on Saturday, June 21 from 9am - noon on S. Pinckney Street on Madison's Capitol Square. The day will be filled with family-friendly activities. Visitors will have the opportunity to connect with Habitat staff and volunteers, hearing firsthand how safe, affordable housing transforms lives and strengthens neighborhoods. We are looking for volunteers to help at various informational tables! These tables will have fun and creative activities to engage the public while providing information. Tables could include crafts, games, a photo booth, etc. We ask volunteers arrive at 7:30am, when training will be provided. Must be 16 or older to volunteer.
