GUIDON22 – Carry the Standard. Lead the Way.
This is more than a ruck. It’s a call to rise.
GUIDON22 is a 22-mile mission through the historic streets of Fredericksburg, Virginia—a test of grit, purpose, and unity. You’ll carry 22 pounds on your back, but that’s not the real weight. The real weight is what it represents: the burden of loss, the call to serve again, the responsibility to lead from the front.
On the battlefield, the guidon wasn’t just a flag—it was a beacon. It told your brothers and sisters, “I’m here. I’ve got your six.” And in every Marine Corps change of command, that guidon is passed with more than hands—it’s passed with trust, with purpose, with the full weight of leadership.
That’s what GUIDON22 is.
A new standard. A renewed mission.
Hosted by Honor Bound FIT, this event unites veterans, first responders, and civilian patriots to honor those we've lost and support those still fighting silent battles. It’s not just about remembrance. It’s about action.
Why should you step up?
- Because it's hard. The miles will break you down. Good. That’s where growth lives.
- Because you belong to a tribe. You won't walk alone. You’ll be shoulder-to-shoulder with others who refuse to quit.
- Because it matters. Every step helps Hero’s Bridge support aging veterans and shines a light on the fight against veteran suicide.
Whether you’re a seasoned rucker or it’s your first mission, this is your chance to serve again. To lead again. To show the world that veterans aren’t broken—they’re built for responsibility, forged by adversity, and ready for what comes next.
If you’ve got a DD-214, that doesn’t mean you’re done. It means it’s your turn to step up—in your family, your town, your community. This country doesn’t need more spectators. It needs leaders.
So bring your grit. Bring your story. Bring your pack.
Pick up the guidon. Carry the standard. And lead.
