Event Description: Join a Conservation Collier land manager for an immersive wet walk through Panther Walk Preserve. Wading through this seasonal wetland, you’ll discover the plants and wildlife that thrive here and learn about the important role these ecosystems play in Florida’s landscape. This hands-on experience offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature, explore the cypress dome up close, and appreciate the biodiversity that makes Collier county’s natural areas so special.

Water levels may vary. Come ready to get your feet wet and see Florida’s wetlands from a whole new perspective.

About the Preserve: Panther Walk Preserve features a half-mile trail winding through an airplant-lined cypress dome that floods seasonally. Visitors may spot wildlife such as Big Cypress fox squirrels, White-tailed deer, Swallow-tailed Kites, and even the occasional Florida Panther or Black bear.
