Guided Mahjong Open Play Beginner Series

Mahjong can be overwhelming at first, but our guided open play beginner series will get you comfortable playing and take your game to the next level. 

We’ll start off covering the topic of the night, then move to guided open play to practice. You can ask questions and get help throughout open play. 

Previous mahjong experience is required, you must have taken at least one lesson already.

$75 for all three sessions

3 week series every other Wednesday from 6:30-9pm

Nov. 12th: Rules Review, Etiquette, & Pacing

Nov. 26th: Strategy, Defense, & Line Selection

Dec. 10th: Alternate Playing Styles- Siamese, Bob, Messy

All supplies are provided, just bring your 2025 NMJL card. Cards are available for purchase for $15 if you do not have one already.
