If you have been wanting to explore the Everglades, but didn't quite know where to go or how to start, here is your chance! This 6 mile guided hike in Big Cypress is for those who are interested in seeing the REAL Everglades. Yes- there are gators, yes -there are snakes, and yes- it will be wet. I have been hiking in the Everglades for over 20 years and have brought countless people on hikes alongside me.

I lead trips for those who want to connect with Mother Earth and nature with respect and reverance. This is an opportunity for you to experience the wonders of the Everglades up close, but before signing up, I ask all participants to review and make sure they are aligned with values at the heart of these journeys.

• Commitment to Safety – Safety is a shared responsibility. I provide guidance and preparation, but YOU are fully responsible for your own actions and are expected to approach each experience with awareness and preparedness.
• Respect for Wildlife – We are visiting the homes of other living beings. You will do your best to minimize disturbance and practice mindful presence in this shared space.
• Protection of the Land – You will NOT litter or pollute. We pack out everything we bring in and take steps to minimize our footprint and impacts.
