About this event

Family & Education • Education

Are you trying to lead your district through the complexities of AI, balancing the need for safety with the promise of innovation? This workshop is designed to help you move beyond the hype and create a clear path forward. Join us to learn how to set practical "guardrails" for safety, compliance, and trust while confidently identifying the "greenlights" where your district can responsibly accelerate and innovate.

Who Should Attend:

This session is ideal for school leaders tasked with guiding AI implementation, including:

  • District and Building Administrators
  • Technology Directors
  • Instructional/Tech Coaches
  • District AI Champions and Team Leads

What to Expect:

This is a hybrid event where you will join a room of local school staff for in-person collaboration guided by an on-site facilitator. An expert presenter (Pete Just) will lead the main session virtually, sharing top-tier expertise. Throughout the day, you will work with your team to frame the "why" behind AI, explore key safety and ethical considerations, and identify opportunities in both instruction and operations. The result will be a practical playbook - filled with shared language, tested activities, and editable tools - that you can immediately use to guide conversations and set strategy in your district.
