Join us for this special virtual networking and hiring event just for adjunct faculty positions.

General Information

Adjunct faculty positions are established on a semester basis to meet academic needs. Adjunct positions may include days, evenings, weekends, and online classes among our campus locations. This event is intended to connect qualified adjunct applicants with department representatives. Only qualified applicants are eligible to attend.

Registration

Registration for the 2021 Virtual Adjunct Networking and Hiring Event is required and includes three easy steps:

1. Register for each discipline separately.

2. Submit an online application at https://gvltec.csod.com/ux/ats/careersite/1/home?c=gvltec for each registered discipline.

a. A CV and/or resume may be attached to the application however a CV and/or resume will not be accepted in lieu of a completed online application.

b. An unofficial/student copy of a transcript, professional license, and/or certificate must be submitted with your online application if the position you are applying for requires a degree, license, and/or certificate. Official documents will be required when you begin employment.

c. Participants that have not registered and submitted an online application will not be able to attend the event.

3. Once your application is reviewed, you will receive a link to the virtual event. Please do not share this link as it is unique to only your registration and join at your appointed time. Adjunct faculty are now being recruited for the following disciplines:

  • Automotive Technology
  • Building Construction
  • College Skills
  • Cosmetology
  • CPT Systems Administration
  • Cybersecurity
  • Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology
  • Humanities/Spanish
  • Humanities/Philosophy
  • HVAC
  • Industrial Electricity Technology
  • Medical Assisting
  • Paralegal Studies
  • Transitional/Developmental Studies: English
  • Transitional/Developmental Studies: Mathematics
  • Transitional/Developmental Studies: Reading
  • Vocational: Ophthalmic Medical Assistant
  • Vocational: SME’s Skilled Trades and Technical Training

In order to attend, qualified applicants will need to apply online for each teaching discipline of interest prior to the April 22 registration deadline to receive a unique link to the virtual event.
