Overview

Attend this virtual session to discuss garden-based learning with Master Gardener Rich Kedanis!

How can a garden become more than a place to grow plants? Join Penn State Master Gardener Rich Kedanis in this exploration of the use of garden-based learning (GBL) as a bridge between generations. We’ll look at how garden education fosters curiosity, systems thinking, and relational reasoning, thereby helping children, adults, and seniors alike make meaning through hands-on connection with soil, plants, and one another. We'll discover practical strategies for cultivating inclusive, intergenerational learning gardens in schools, communities, and home plantscapes.

The event link will be emailed to participants in the confirmation email generated from program registration.
