Come learn with Shelley from Portland Nursery about forcing flower bulbs indoors! Growing flowers indoors in the winter is an easy way to add life and fragrance to your home when the days are short and dreary. Bulbs can add a rustic or elegant element to any room, depending on how you deploy them. This class will begin with an overview of what bulbs to grow through the winter in your home and how to do it. Then we will put our knowledge to use and make a container of paperwhite bulbs to take home. *Three bulbs, various decorative rocks, and one vessel will be provided.
(This class will be given twice in October - Sun. 10/12 at Stark and Sat. 10/25 at Division)
Date: Sat October 25th 2025
Time: 10:00 AM
Location: Portland Nursery on Division (9000 SE Division)
***All classes this fall at Division will be held in our greenhouse Hoop House 2, which is located out in the yard of the nursery, near the trees and small fruits. It is a large greenhouse that functions as a covered outdoor area. If the weather is cold, we will have heaters going, but please remember to dress so that you are comfortable during the presentation.***
