Alexander is a senior data & technology executive and expert in data science, ML and AI with 20 years of professional experience. He is currently heading Data Science, ML and Automation efforts at Square. Prior to Square, he has been a Global Head of Data Science and ML at SoFi, Vice President and Head of ML Solutions & Line Modeling at American Express, Professor at New York University and founder of several start-up companies specializing in Data Science solutions. Alexander received Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Mathematics from Case Western Reserve University and Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Biomedical Informatics/ML from Vanderbilt University.
