The Veterams & Military Family Services is presenting financial literacy courses with Financial Educator Tony Warfield as sponsored by the Department of mental Health Services. The four part series will take attendees through a step by step process to help strenghten financial knowledge and help to become even better personal financial stewards.

Module 3 of 4 will take the information learned in the first two modules to determine options for each attendee to begin creating a plan to grow their wealth. A positive discretionary income must be determined in order to beging the financial growth process. If there is no positive discretionary income available, further reductions of spending and/ or an increase in income will be needed.

We must be diligent in getting the information out there.

Financial Education will not fix all the socioeconomic challenges we have in our community. It is not until we come together and exercise the collective knowledge and resources to ensure a future for our children and their children.

We must reach out to the people! This means going to their churches, their various organizations, even their preferred entertainment venues and social events. Awareness is more than just a click away as the many distractions keep us from gaining the knowledge we need to survive and thrive in an ever changing and challenging economy!
