Grow with Us- Success in the Summer Vegetable Garden
Overview
N.C. Cooperative Extension - Guilford County Center and our N.C. State Extension Master Gardener℠ program invite you to join us for:
Success in the Summer Vegetable Garden
Monday, April 2o, 2026, 6:30pm - 7:30pm
Kathleen Clay Edwards Family Branch Library
1420 Price Park Drive, Greensboro, NC 27410
This is an IN-PERSON seminar, presented by our Extension Master Gardener℠ volunteers. The same program will be presented as a virtual session online via Zoom on a different date. Click here to view the information and register for the online session via Zoom.
Late spring is the perfect time to talk about the challenges and rewards of growing food plants while dealing with the heat, humidity, and other hassles of our Piedmont conditions. We’ll discuss strategies for success in the summer vegetable garden - by following best practices, and using an integrated pest management approach.
The talk is free - but capacity is limited. Please register to reserve a seat.
A program handout providing links to abundant resources and in-depth information will be dispersed at the program. The handout will also be accessible after the session on our website.
If you encounter problems registering or if you have questions, please contact Holly Key (hmkey@ncsu.edu). Thank you for your interest in our "Grow with Us" programming!
