This is an IN-PERSON seminar, presented by our Extension Master Gardener volunteers. The same program will be presented as a virtual session online via Zoom on a different date. Click here to view the information and register for the online session via Zoom.

Composting is the natural way to recycle organic waste material – we’ll discuss the most frequently asked questions about this simple process and the easiest ways to begin. We’ll also go over the basics like what should or shouldn’t be composted, and share a little info about having a successful “worm bin” at home.

The talk is free - but capacity is limited. Please register to reserve a seat.

A program handout providing links to abundant resources and in-depth information will be dispersed at the program. The handout will also be accessible after the session on our website.

In the event of inclement weather, we generally follow Guilford County schools. If schools are closed, we will likely not have class. You can email Holly Key (hmkey@ncsu.edu) or call 336-641-2400 to confirm.

If you encounter problems registering or if you have questions, please contact Holly Key (hmkey@ncsu.edu; (336) 641-2414). Thank you for your interest in our "Grow with Us" programming!
