ABOUT YOUR HOST
Biola Jeje is a Nigerian-American Yoga Teacher (RYT-500) and Communications Strategist whose work bridges movement, storytelling, and social transformation.
Raised in Brooklyn, NY, within a large Pentecostal family, Biola’s journey was shaped by early experiences navigating mental health struggles and generational trauma. Her creative roots run deep, from writing and producing her first play, Conversations in Perdition, to organizing for racial, environmental, and economic justice across the nation.
In 2017, burnout and grief led Biola to begin a deep healing journey. What started as candle-making and journaling evolved into Mercurial Flow, her space for embodied healing and creative restoration.
Since completing her first 200-hour yoga teacher training in Washington, D.C., and a 300-hour certification in Bali, Biola has taught yoga and meditation in the U.S., Mexico, Panama, and beyond.
Biola continues to travel the world leading retreats, workshops, and healing experiences, helping others, especially those healing from perfectionism, people-pleasing, and generational trauma reconnect with their joy, playfulness, and power.
