People's Exchange and the Kitsap Community Food Co-op are teaming up on August 23rd to share real-life tips on how to reduce the packaging and food waste that often comes with grocery shopping. We'll talk about packaging choices, how to shop bulk, meal planning and composting food scraps. Come ready to chat and leave with simple tips you can use right away.

The workshop will start with a discussion at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Library in Downtown Bremerton. We'll meet in the lower level meeting room from 11-12:00pm and then head for an optional walk over to the Kitsap Community Food Co-op to tour the store and see many of the tips in action.
