Inspired by escape rooms and trivia nights, BUZZD BOX is a competitive head-to-head game of wits and puzzle-solving skills in a tabletop format. Instead of escaping out of a room, BUZZD BOX is exactly what it sounds like: 1 BOX ** 6 LOCKS ** 1 BUZZR!

How do I play?

Each team starts with an identical box with 6 locks on it; each lock corresponds to one puzzle. The puzzles are mixed variety, and you will be given all the clues, props, and resources you need to solve each one.

How do I win?

Solve each puzzle to open each lock in sequence. The team to press their BUZZR in the lowest cumulative time win! *WARNING: Bonuses and penalties which can add or subtract time from your final score ARE in play!

Are drinks involved?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Every drink your team purchases and finishes gives you one spin on the WHEEL OF WINDFALL. The wheel will ADD time, SUBTRACT time, wipe out your existing bonuses/penalties with BANKRUPTCY, or even SABOTAGE another team by adding time to their score.

Can I play with few the 3 or more than 6 players?

Accepted Answer

While possible, the game is optimized for small-group play. Too few players, and you may find the puzzles a little too time-consuming; too many players, and it's likely that some won't have much to participate with. To preserve the experience, no more than 6 players are permitted per team.
