Tina's Story: Healing From The Death Of The Person We Planned To Spend Our Life With #WRTWT
Nothing prepares us for losing a loved one, especially the one we plan to spend the rest of our lives with. We are pushed into this challenging path of grief; sometimes, it can feel like the entire journey through it can swallow us up. Baring her soul and heartache with us to offer hope during this challenging period, our own Tina Fornwald shares her story. Her friend, Jerri Newson, takes over and interviews Tina about how she navigated through the grieving process from the death of her husband, with whom she spent 32 years. She also discusses what prompted her to create a show around widowhood, loss, and death. Being in this dark place can feel lonely, but it doesn’t have to be. Let Tina and the stories of many others bring you hope through it.

How to Move Forward After a Setback
Join me as I reflect on the past eight years without my husband and share the lessons I've learned along the way!
In this week's reflection, I'm taking a moment to look back on the past 8 years, a journey marked by both immense growth and profound loss. As I reflect on the lessons I've learned, I'm reminded of the importance of resilience, love, and remembrance in the face of adversity. Losing a loved one to death can be a devastating experience, but it's in these moments of grief that we're given the opportunity to grow, to heal, and to find new ways of coping. Through my personal story, I hope to share some of the mental health tips and coping strategies that have helped me navigate the darkest of times. From mourning practices that bring comfort to finding support in the community, I'm opening up about my experiences in the hopes that they may help others who are struggling. As I look to the future, I'm reminded that life after loss is possible and that with time, patience, and support, we can find a way to move forward, even in the face of true tragedy. So, join me on this reflective journey as I explore the lessons I've learned over the past 8 years, and let's work together to build a community that prioritizes mental wellness and healing. #reflection #journal
