About this walk
Grief can feel isolating, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. Grief Rambles is a gentle, informal walk designed for those experiencing loss, whether recent or long ago. There’s no pressure to share or explain; just a space to be outside, move, and connect with others who understand.
We’ll walk at a steady, relaxed pace along the rail trail, pausing when needed and letting the conversation (or companionable silence) unfold naturally.
Who is this for?
- Anyone processing grief, no matter the stage or circumstance.

- A small group (6-8 people) for a more personal experience.
- A low-key, welcoming atmosphere—whether you want to chat, listen, or just walk.
- An out and back route along the scenic rail trail.
- The option to grab a coffee or tea afterward for those who’d like to stay a little longer at The Grind

About Me
Hi, I'm Claire, of Grief Conversations with Claire. Grief Coach, Grief Educator and Speaker. Bereaved sibling, granddaughter, doggie Mum, and other losses that don’t have the relationship title to them-still emotional impactful due to the relationship. I support people who are working through the loss of a beloved person, pet, or life circumstance and are ready to find their new normal in a way that honours the loss. And at the same time, helps them move through all the emotions, thoughts, and experiences that are so normal in grief, with a newfound permission to be as they are, experience grace. I am their partner in the healing process so that they can recover a sense of safety, trust in their own intuition, and clarity as they navigate the later phases of the grief journey.
