More about our Presenter:

Stephanie Ciccotta is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of New York with extensive experience working with people of all ages. She graduated from Adelphi University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Advanced in Psychological Studies and CUNY Baruch in 2014 with her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling.

From 2018 to 2023, she worked with grieving individuals for Calvary Hospital’s bereavement department. She ran 5 support groups per week and saw individual clients who wanted a one-on-one approach to processing their grief. She worked with children and teens ages 6-17 as well as adults from 25-90 years of age.

Aside from her role as bereavement counselor, Stephanie lectured at Calvary Hospital’s Annual Bereavement Course for 4 years, from 2019 - 2023. She presented on a wide variety of topics from trauma in grief, spousal loss, compassion fatigue, self-care, and grieving in the digital age. Her teachings helped learners earn CEU’s and provided important and open discussions about grief and loss.

Stephanie is also a Certified Pilates Instructor and is therefore a firm advocate for the mind/body connection. She guides her clients into building this awareness by leading them through mindfulness exercises, journaling activities, and providing psychoeducation.

Her personal life consists of raising her two sons with her husband, enjoying live music, drawing and painting, and traveling.
