ABOUT THIS EVENT

After the holidays, many of us are ready for a slower pace and more connection.

Grief & Connection Day Retreat is a warm, welcoming gathering for Black women 40+ to come together for conversation, rest, and community in the weeks following the holiday season.

This is not therapy.
This is not a workshop.

It is a light, nurturing space where you do not have to explain how you are feeling or carry anything alone. You are welcome to talk, listen, rest, or simply be present.

The afternoon is intentionally designed to feel unpressured and supportive, offering moments of connection, quiet restoration, and shared presence with women who understand the value of slowing down together.

The intention is simple: to create a soft place to land and to remind you that you are not alone.

WHO THIS IS FOR

This retreat is for Black women ages 40 and up who:

Are craving connection and community
Want a gentle space to slow down
Prefer gatherings without pressure or expectations
Value rest that feels natural and supportive

You do not need to prepare or share anything personal to attend.

WHAT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE

Connection circle with gentle conversation
Salt cave experience for rest and relaxation
Restful sound bath
Warm soup and cozy tea
Shared presence and community care

Everyone will experience each offering in a relaxed, easy flow.

$65–$85 sliding scale
Pay-what-you-can option available

WHAT TO BRING

Comfortable clothing
Socks (required for the salt cave)
Yoga mat and blanket for rest practices
Journal and pen (optional)

Everything else is provided.

Registration closes when the event fills or on January 10th.
Participation is always optional. Quiet presence is welcome.

Tickets are non-refundable but transferable.
If you are unable to attend, you may gift your spot to another Black woman 40+.
