Greenwood Carving with Erik Vevang - Make door hooks

Carve your own wall hooks from a tree branch. You could even hang your Christmas stockings from these sturdy hooks.

This class is an introduction to the craft of green wood carving. Green wood is softer than dried and seasoned wood, so it is more enjoyable to carve. We will start by practicing safety and proper knife grips. After that we will work on carving your very own wall hooks.

No experience is needed and carvers of all skill levels and abilities are welcome. All supplies and tools provided.

Wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting full of wood chips and close toed shoes.

This class is for carvers age 16 and over.
