Join Brooklyn Greenway Initiative for a one-of-a-kind community celebration this fall! We’re hosting our first-ever Bluegrass Jam and community festival in the scenic, historic setting of the Naval Cemetery Landscape. We want you to be part of it! This family-friendly event will feature live music, local food and drinks, and festive fall activities, including a mini pumpkin patch.
Local blue grass musicians will include: Christian Apuzzo; Bobby Hawk; Cesar Moreno; Max Johnson - scroll down for links to their social media! We're excited to feature a Bluegrass Jam at our event! All musicians are welcome to join us and jam from 11 am - 1 pm and 2 pm - 3 pm. (We will take a short intermission for the costume parade).
Costume Parade: At 1:00 pm, we will be hosting a children's costume parade, with prizes for attendees. Pollinator-themed costumes are particularly welcome at this festival! (The meadow on site has over 90 native plant species that support native and migrating pollinators and other wildlife! Think bats, bees, butterflies and moths!)
This event is free and open-to-the-public! Registration is not required (but we appreciate you letting us know that you will be there).
Costumes are encouraged!

We recommend walking, biking, or taking public transportation. There will be bike racks to park your bike onsite.
