About this event

Food & Drink • Food

The Green Lunch Series will delve into topics such as energy, food security, equity and gender, smart growth, land use, transportation, materials, and emerging innovations. Through engaging speakers, panel discussions, and interactive sessions, we aim to explore the positive future envisioned by millions worldwide, with a keen focus on local perspectives and solutions.

Please join us on Monday, November 10th from 12:00PM-1:00PM at the Athens Public Library in their large conference room. Join staff from Rural Action’s Sustainable Agriculture, Forestry, and Watersheds programs for a lively discussion about how healthy soils impact farm viability, food nutrition, plant diversity, and clean streams. This event falls on Ohio’s Soil Health Week and we invite attendees to celebrate other events around the state that week!

This is a free to attend, brown bag lunchtime discussion. Bring your lunch and join us for the noon hour as we discuss local sustainability efforts!
