Green Line LRT – SE Project Industry Event
Overview
This event is an opportunity to hear directly from City leadership and the shortlisted companies for the 2026-2031 civil works construction packages. These companies will share insights into upcoming subcontracting and supply chain opportunities.
You will also be able to meet local non-profit organizations supporting trade organizations and under-represented groups in the construction industry and learn more about their available programs and services.
Be part of Calgary’s largest infrastructure project that will create a public transit network connecting Calgary’s major employment hubs and residential areas, while creating 20,000 direct and indirect jobs.
About the Green Line LRT – SE Segment
Phase 1 of the Green Line LRT is a $6.248-billion investment and is a critical piece of transportation infrastructure in Canada’s fastest-growing city. The SE Segment will run from Shepard in the southeast to the future Event Centre/Grand Central Station in the Beltline. With construction underway, the SE Segment will deliver 10 stations, 16 kilometres of track, two park and ride facilities, multiple bridges and elevated guideways, transit hubs, 28 low-floor light rail vehicles, and a maintenance and storage facility for the new vehicles.
