About the Green Line LRT – SE Segment
Phase 1 of the Green Line LRT is a $6.248 billion investment and is a critical piece of transportation infrastructure in Canada’s fastest-growing city. The SE Segment will run from Shepard in the southeast to the future Event Centre/Grand Central Station in the Beltline. With construction underway, the SE Segment will deliver 10 stations, 16 kilometres of track, two park and ride facilities, multiple bridges and elevated guideways, transit hubs, 28 low-floor light rail vehicles, and a maintenance and storage facility for the new vehicles.
