Event description
Get answers and ask questions about composting, recycling, and waste!

About this event

What did you do with your holiday tree, turkey, trimmings, and trash?

Do you know if your electronics are "covered" or "non-covered"?

Do you know what the most valuable recyclable item is in your container?

Is source separation better than single stream?

Are you stockpiling items because you don't know what to do with them?

Does a thermometer with red liquid contain mercury?

How's that food scrap sorting?

Get answers and ask questions on January 20th at our monthly Green Drinks series. Ham Gillett from the Greater Upper Valley and Southern Windsor/Windham Counties solid waste management districts will join us to debunk fake recycling news, give updates, and tell you how to dispose of items you never even knew you had! Submit your questions ahead of time or not.
