About this event

The Great Digital for Good conference is back for 2025. This conference is for digital teams in purpose-driven organisations to learn and share from their peers.

Expect cross-sector collaboration, hands-on workshops, insights from your peers in world-leading impactful institutions, and actionable strategies from experts in their specialisms.

This year's theme is 'doing more with less', and we'll be exploring how digital teams can still make a big impact even when budgets are tight.

We've crafted a packed agenda around the idea of 'doing more with less' to help you maximise the impact of your digital efforts. Here's what to expect:

  • Less noise, more impact – An interactive workshop led by Marie Kitney, Director of Client Engagement, Numiko. You'll work with peers from other purpose-driven organisations to identify digital solutions that could help simplify the work of your digital team, as well as amplify your organisation's mission.
  • From measurement to momentum – Catherine Warwick, Client Partner, Numiko explores how to cut through the data noise to focus on what really matters for your organisation.
  • Design it once: How design systems save time and benefit users – Elizabeth McCarthy, University of Oxford, and Daniel Wilson, Numiko explain the benefits of design systems and how to utilise them effectively.
  • Getting your colleagues to 'yes' – Paul Costello, Client Partner, Numiko, leads an interactive session on stakeholder management techniques to help you get buy-in for focusing your digital efforts.
  • Five digital tactics for cultural and social impact – Berry Cochrane, CEO, Forward Action, identifies five key tactics to win in the attention economy when the online culture is stacked against us.
  • 24 hours to solve your most critical challenges – Jaron Ghani, Numiko's Innovation Director, presents the exciting tools and intriguing prototypes from Numiko's hack days.
  • Unconference session: Opportunities for 2026 – Discussion groups on the biggest opportunities for digital teams next year.
  • Too much content, too little time – lessons from our content migration – Agnieszka Grychowska and Sean Callow from Kingston University share the lessons they learnt from the launch of Kingston University's new website.
  • Punching above your weight as a small digital team – Oscar French from LAMDA explains how their small team makes a big impact.
  • Being a Bloomberg Tech Fellow: The Courtauld's journey – Eva Bensasson, the Courtauld, and Jane Macpherson, Arts Council England, lift the lid on being a Bloomberg Tech Fellow and how it can benefit digital teams in the GLAM sector.

Then last, but by no means least, we'll go to the pub!
