The 60-year celebration of The Grateful Dead at Golden Gate Park this August was just the beginning. The Dead, their legacy, and their fans keep on truckin’, and this evening at the Lost Church brings Grateful Dead experts, intimates, and dedicated fans together to spread the love and share the memories. Join Litquake co-founder, journalist, and author Jack Boulware as he moderates this Deadhead line-up: Amelia Davis and David Gans (The Grateful Dead by Jim Marshall), Jim Newton (Here Beside the Rising Tide), and Dennis McNally (The Last Great Dream). No Dead evening is complete without music, so David Gans and Bob Bralove will entertain with some favorites, and Gabi Moskowitz, author of Dead in the Kitchen, will share some “bites” as well. Doors at 7:30pm. $25 / $3 early bird discount until October 19

The Grateful Dead wouldn’t be the Dead without their passionate followers. So throw your name in a hat for the chance to share a two-minute story about an encounter with the Dead, or an experience at a Dead Show.
