About this event

  • Event lasts 30 minutes

This fun 30-minute class is the perfect introduction to karate for tamariki aged 4 to 6 — and their parents or caregivers who are welcome to join in for free!

We begin and end each class in sisa position, teaching your little one how to pause, breathe, and connect with calm. It’s not just about movement — it’s about learning to focus, listen, and feel strong inside.

Your child will:

  • Learn basic karate stances, blocks, and strikes through fun, age-appropriate games
  • Build balance, coordination, and strength through playful stretching and core activities
  • Practice mindfulness and breathing to help with emotional regulation
  • Feel proud of their effort, every single week

And you? You’ll love watching your child grow more confident, resilient, and connected — while sharing the experience side by side (if you choose to join in!).

This class is designed to support the early development of physical confidence, emotional calm, and a strong sense of self - all through the art of karate.

🌱 “It’s more than kicks and blocks - it’s the foundation for a strong, healthy, resilient life.”
