Join us for an outdoor grass seminar with Jesse James Pierce.
Jesse has been involved with various forms of movement for over 3 decades. With background in Martial Arts, Acrobatics, Parkour and Yoga, Jesse aims to bring balance into your movement practice to aid in approaching your edges in a safe and mindful manner.
This session will include:
- An extensive warm up consisting of mobility, joint bulletproofing, active flexibility & plyometric conditioning to prepare the body to play.
- Basic acrobatics to build a solid foundation. Handstand progressions & rolling variations will give you the opportunity to explore your limits with care.
- Intermediate acroatics with more focus on height, momentum and amplitude. Move freely at your own pace and see where you end up!
- Cool down with passive flexibility, breath and a little yin yoga. Give yourself the opportunity to absorb what you have learned.
MEET IN FRONT OF THE COMMUNITY CENTRE FROM 10:30-10:55am.
WE WILL MOVE TO THE SOUTH FIELD FOR 11:00am!
BRING WATER & COMFY CLOTHES. FRESH FRUIT TO BE PROVIDED!
