Join us for a script-in-hand reading and post-show discussion of Grapefruit, a new play in its earliest stages of development. We are opening up the process to invite audiences into the room and gather responses that will shape the next phase of the work, because we believe this story has a vital voice that deserves to be heard.
Grapefruit follows a young woman navigating sofa-surfing, relationships, and the realities of reproductive health. Through candid, funny, and vulnerable conversations between women, the play explores girlhood, modern dating, and the healthcare system, while exposing the gaps in education around the reproductive body.
This is a rare chance to experience a piece of theatre at its rawest and most immediate, to witness the beginnings of a play in progress, and to contribute directly to its future. Your feedback, reflections, and presence are integral to its evolution.
