Learn the fundamentals of grant writing in this two-part workshop taught by Colleen McLellan, a professional grant writer.
Using team exercises in writing, calendaring, and project management, Grant Writing Part 2 equips attendees to strengthen their leadership skills. Please note that Grant Writing Part 2 is designed to build on material from Grant Writing Part 1, and will not spend significant time revisiting earlier content. It is strongly encouraged that participants already have grant-writing experience or participate in Grant Writing Part 1 before attending.
This is the second session of a 2-part series. We strongly encourage interested patrons to attend both sessions because the information in both sessions builds off of and reinforces each other.
If you are unable to attend in-person at the Detroit Public Library's Franklin branch, you can get a ticket to attend virtually via Zoom meeting. (Meeting invitations will be sent by email.)
