Overview
Learn the fundamentals of grant writing in this two-part workshop taught by Colleen McLellan, a professional grant writer.
In this session, we'll cover the basics of grant writing, with an emphasis on understanding opportunities and building your own, step-by-step process for writing and managing a grant. This session is primarily structured as a lecture presentation with Q&A opportunities.
This is the first session of a 2-part series. We strongly encourage interested patrons to attend both sessions because the information in both sessions builds off of and reinforces each other.
If you are unable to attend in-person at the Detroit Public Library's Franklin branch, you can get a ticket to attend virtually via Zoom meeting. (Meeting invitations will be sent by email.)
