Join Racine Arts Council at Gateway Technical College - Racine Campus for "Grant Writing for Creatives: Crafting Proposals that Get Funded (with a dash of AI), an interactive 90-minute workshop designed for artists and creatives. In this session, participants will learn how to identify funding opportunities, tell their story with impact, and highlight outcomes that resonate with funders—while exploring how AI tools can streamline the grant writing process. You’ll leave with practical strategies to create stronger, more compelling proposals."

Presented by Dr. Catherine (Draeger) Pederson, a relational leader, strategic thinker, and compassionate consultant with over 18 years of experience supporting people and nonprofits in creating meaningful community impact. As CEO of Loving Venti, LLC, she partners with small-to-medium nonprofits focusing on strategy, coaching, and fund development. Catherine also teaches at UW-Milwaukee and has held executive roles in organizations focused on prison education and food security. A recipient of the TOYA and Philanthropic 5 awards, she holds a Ph.D. in Leadership and a Master’s in Christian Studies. Catherine lives in Milwaukee’s Washington Heights neighborhood.Loving Venti is a consulting firm from Milwaukee, specifically equipped to strengthen small-to-medium sized nonprofits to meet the needs of their community.
