About this event

Health • Other

GRANDMA SAID is a grief awareness and healing workshop for individuals navigating loss while holding—and sometimes questioning—the rituals they’ve inherited. This session invites honest conversation about traditions passed down through family and community, the ones we’ve outgrown, and the ones we’re ready to create.

Together, we will:

  • Reflect on the role of rituals and traditions in grief
  • Consider the impact of family, culture, and community in shaping grief practices
  • Discuss how to release harmful rituals and create meaningful, personal ones
  • Create one simple ritual to honor your grief in your own way

This is a space for truth-telling, unlearning, remembering, and healing.

✊🏾 Come as you are. Your grief has a place here.
