We are excited to invite you to the opening of the Lake to Sound Trail - Segment A! This 1.1 mile-long segment connects up with the Green River Trail on the west end, circles the north edge of the Black River Riparian Forest - home to one of the largest heron rookeries in the region - and terminates at Naches Ave SW.

Come join County Executive Dow Constantine and other local representatives open the trail, followed by a walking tour of the rookery by Herons Forever.

The event will be held on the north end of the bridge crossing the Black River on the west end of the Black River Riparian Forest.
