Grand Illumination at the Cavalier Resort

Embrace the magic of the season at Virginia Beach’s premier holiday celebration with a beloved tradition for families near and far. Gather on the Great Lawn at 5PM as Santa helps transform our resort into a dazzling winter wonderland!

As the lights come to life, watch little eyes sparkle with delight as Santa and his friends take the stage to sing all your festive favorites.

Stay for photos with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, warm up with hot chocolate and roasted s’mores, and toast to the season with handcrafted holiday cocktails in The Raleigh Room. Keep an eye out for Ballet Virginia’s Nutcracker dancers, adding a touch of timeless enchantment as carolers fill the air with joyful melodies.

This is a FREE event and open to the public. Rideshare is encouraged. This ticket does not grant you access to Santa's Holly Jolly Show prior to the Grand Illumination.
