Join California College of the Arts (CCA) Graduate Writing faculty online for their virtual program information session. Presented by MFA Writing Chair, Jasmin Darznik. You'll hear the best reasons for getting a graduate degree in fiction, nonfiction, or poetry, plus get tips on putting your best application forward. Afterward, there will be time to meet and chat with current students.

CCA's MFA in Writing is a two-year program. Writers are not relegated to a certain concentration of poetry or prose, but many do elect an emphasis. The program is personalized, with lots of faculty mentorship options.

Jasmin Darznik is the author of The Bohemians, which imagines the friendship between a young Dorothea Lange and her Chinese American assistant in 1920s San Francisco. The novel was included in the New York Times Book Review's Summer 2021 reading recommendations and was one of Oprah Daily's best books of historical fiction for 2021.
