Grab & Go Bag Presentation
Join us for an informative and approachable session on building a “Grab & Go Bag” for emergency situations such as fires, floods, or extended power outages. Deputy Maurice Pratt of the Essex County Sheriff’s Department will walk us through why these bags matter, what essential items to include—like medications, eyeglasses, important contacts, and pet needs—and how to start assembling one with items you already have at home. Participants will receive a suggested checklist and an emergency contact sheet to take with them. While we do not provide bags, any medium tote or backpack will work. Free — RSVP encouraged.
