Presentation - Building a serverless Slackbot using AWS Lambda and JS by Brian LeRoux
Teams are increasingly moving to chat interfaces. Meanwhile devs are increasingly moving to serverless architectures. Lets combine these new shiny objects into a weird and wonderful thing. In this talk Brian will share lessons learned building as-of-yet-unreleased begin.com bots. Building a serverless architecture comes with new challenges and opportunities for fun. We'll look at the Slack API, getting setup with AWS, deploying Lambda functions and the different ways to invoke them.
Presentation - BSaas without Browsers. Is this for real? by Brock Whitten
Browsers are so 2015. The SaaS of today is fast, powerful, and most importantly, composable. In this talk Brock show behind the scenes anatomy of how Surge the CLI driven CDN is built and we'll discuss if there is really a future for the web without browsers.
Hope to see you there!
