Bath in the echoes of the Strawberry Moon: a Gong Bath to harness this transformative energy
Date: Sunday August 10th 2025
Time: 18:30pm for 19:00pm start
Location: Rockwater Branksome
We are hoping for good weather so we can run this event on the beach. If not we will be on the roof terace in Rockwater.
It will be the day after the Sturgeon Full Moon. The "Sturgeon Moon" is the traditional Native American name for the full moon that typically occurs in August, named after the sturgeon fish that were readily caught during this time of year. Spiritually, it's associated with themes ofresilience, strength, and ancestral wisdom, reflecting the sturgeon's long lifespan and ancient lineage. It can also symbolize a time for introspection, honoring one's journey, and releasing old patterns.
Group sound healing can enhance a sense of unity, resonating with the communal aspects of full moom gatherings.
If we are on the beach bring a mat, yoga mat or picnic blanket. If we are inside we can use the yoga mats provided by Rockwater. Do bring cushions, pillows, blankets etc to create a comfy nest to relax into. If we are outside a hot water bottle can also be cosy as the sun goes down behind the cliff.
Timings as follows:
18:30pm arrival and create your comfy nest for your Gong Bath
19:00pm Gong Bath experience
20:00pm time and space to ground and regroup yourself
20:00pm float off into your evening
