LET'S GET OUTSIDE!

2020 has been a year to remember. As we all experience this impactful period in history we can get outside for inspiration, relaxation, and fun through Willistown Parks and Recreation's award winning outdoor adventure program, GO WilMa!

One thing we can be sure of is being outside is good for us in many ways! Usually a summer program, we are offering this year-end program to continue to encourage kids and their families to spend time outside and reap the health and well-being benefits of doing so. In celebration of this extended fun, our year end GO WilMa! theme is "The Adventure Continues!"

GO WilMa! stands for “Get Outside around Willistown and Malvern” and combines parks and recreation, health and wellness, and—FUN. Exploring the natural, historic, and unique treasures of our area brings families together, lifts spirits, and delivers smiles! Following our electronic Field Guide, children and their families and friends explore our region through a series of scavenger hunts that lead to hidden “Inspiration Stations” in our local landscape. Each Inspiration Station highlights an awesome landscape setting that inspires, lifts spirits, and provides the backdrop for our incredible adventure here on earth.

REGISTRATION

To receive our electronic GO WilMa! Field Guide, please register each child that will be participating separately. In an effort not to overrun our park systems, Registration is limited to the municipalities and patrons served by Malvern and Paoli Libraries including Willistown Township, Malvern Borough, East Whiteland and East Goshen Townships, and more. SOCIAL DISTANCING & CDC COMPLIANCE REQUIRED

You must follow all Center for Disease Control guidelines for social distancing. A minimum of 6’ separation from non-family members is required. Although all of our adventures this year are outside, you must wear a mask when unable to maintain 6’ social distance. For example, please wear your mask when passing 6’ or less between other people on trails.
