Organized by

The Gateway Chapter of Paralyzed Veterans of America is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to honorably discharged veterans of the armed forces who have experienced spinal cord injury or disease.

We are governed by an all-volunteer, all-member board of directors, ensuring the most responsible and informed stewardship of the funds we receive. Our 2025 fiscal year audit shows that out of every dollar we spend, $.90 goes to programs for our members. The St. Louis Better Business Bureau recognizes us as an Accredited Charity on its Wise Giving Guide and recently awarded us their Torch Award for Ethics.

Our mission statement is “Veterans with spinal cord injury or disease, living life to the fullest.” With your support, we look forward to a day when this vision becomes a reality for all of our members. Learn more about us at gatewaypva.org.
