About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Welcome to the Glow Float Event!

Bring your lights, paddleboard, canoe, or kayak, and join us for an evening on the lake. At dusk, the Glow Float transforms the lake into a captivating spectacle. Paddling from the beach, we cruise through the canal while onlookers from homes and restaurants wave from the shore.

Our float takes us around the island and then along the Winona Lake shoreline, offering a unique perspective as darkness begins to settle. Moonlight and the twinkling lights of lakeside homes create a breathtaking ambiance.

Toward the end of the paddle, we’ll stop, allowing those inclined to take a refreshing swim. Afterward, we'll return to our starting point, where we’ll have a fire and (possibly s'mores). At this time, we’ll give away several $100 & $50 Amazon gift cards, thanks to KCODE. It’s simple to win:

  1. Donate/register
  2. Float
  3. Return
  4. Doorprize drawing (Must be present to win all door prizes, including the Amazon gift cards.)

Everyone has to donate to be eligible for the door prizes. 100% of the net proceeds go to the family in need. We will tell you about them the night of the event!

  • As the name implies, this is a glow flow, and your watercraft must have a front and rear light to meet DNR requirements. The more lights, the better!
  • Come early to prepare your paddleboard, canoe, or kayak for the paddle. Remember, the more lights and glowsticks each has, the better!
  • Each person on or in a watercraft must have a life jacket. Small children and those who cannot swim must also wear a life jacket when on the water.
  • There is a very limited supply of loaner kayaks and canoes.
