Event description

Description

This lantern workshop is hosted by Chantelle Rytter, visiting lantern parade artist from Atlanta. We are making lanterns to walk in Safety Harbor Arts & Music Center's "SHAMcGIVING" first anniversary celebration and parade! The parade theme is polkadots! But anything goes for your lantern!

Make your own globe lantern! You'll be a hit in the parade and have a lovely decoration for your home. We are tricking out paper globe lanterns with colored paper, glue, and a light. It is down right relaxing, and can be a super fun parent-child team project. You can easily finish your globe lantern in an hour or you can luxuriate with fabulous details! All materials, light, and batteries included. Tickets are per lantern. (ie. Ellie and I want to make one globe lantern together. We just need to buy one ticket.) Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Tickets are non-refundable.

Take a look at the Lantern Workshop Gallery and get some ideas! Check out SHAMcGIVING on Facebook.
