Join the Global Solidarity Run/Walk in Rabat!
The Embassy of Ireland in Rabat is proud to host the Global Solidarity Run/Walk on Saturday, 11th October 2025 at Dar Essalam Forest for the first time in Rabat, Morocco!
This special event brings people together around the world to run, jog, or walk in solidarity with those experiencing forced displacement and extreme poverty—last year over 50 Embassies and communities took part.
The Global Solidarity Run is an initiative by Sanctuary Runners, an Irish solidarity-through-sport movement, supported by Irish Aid, The Ireland Funds, and the European Commission. Here in Morocco UNHCR will partner in the event.
We invite you to join us at 09:00 AM to take part in the run, reflect on the theme of solidarity, and enjoy a small bite with fellow participants afterwards.
This is an invite only event and numbers are limited – please kindly register to confirm your place.
Even if you can’t make it to Dar Essalam Forest, you can still participate from wherever you are and share a photo with us!
Complimentary blue t-shirts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
