Session Summaries:

Keynote - Trends and Future of AI - Frank La Vigne

Frank will cover emerging trends, tools, use cases for AI.

Accelerate Your Data Science Projects with Azure Machine Learning’s AutoML Feature - Jon Tupitza

Deliver business value to your customers more quickly with Azure Machine Learning AutoML. The Data Science & Machine Learning development cycle can be both painful and time-consuming due to all the iteration that’s historically been required to identify the most influential features in your data, to identify the most effective machine learning algorithm, and to determine the best performing set of hyperparameter configurations for that algorithm. The permutations are practically endless, but our customers’ patience is not. In this session, attendees will learn how to use AutoML to get them on the path to success more quickly and with much less effort than ever before.

Make your applications interactive with Speech Services - Veronika Kolesnikova

Everyone knows we can’t deny benefits of artificial intelligence both for business and for consumers. Developers are trying to integrate it to all kinds of applications and all major tech companies are working on making it as accessible as possible. Whether you are working with machine learning models every day, building chat bots or just want to “humanize” your app you’ll find Microsoft Speech Services very useful. There’s a wide variety of use cases and applications for them.

In this session we’ll talk about Artificial Intelligence in general and then move to more detailed view of Speech Services. You will learn about available speech tools and their applications. We’ll talk about similar tools provided by Google and Amazon. In the end you’ll see a quick demo overviewing the services. I’m sure this session will make you excited enough to start working with Speech services.

Leverage Cognitive Language Services to analyze text, determine intent and natural language - Kiran Bakshi

In this session we will discuss and dive deeper into Cognitive Language Services to analyze text, determine intent, detect themes, and process natural language inputs.

Introduction to AI and Cognitive Services for Developers and Information Workers - Prashant Bhoyar

“Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are the new buzzwords in the industry. Microsoft's vision is to make AI accessible to every enterprise, data scientist, developer, information worker, consumer and device everywhere in the world. AI has a big role to play in the enterprise space. The field of AI is progressing at a rapid pace. Without understanding the concepts behind these advanced technologies, developers and administrators will struggle to evaluate the potential impact of new tools and solutions. In this session, we will break down the concepts behind existing technologies, outline various tools available today, and discuss the direction of AI and ML for Developers. We will cover how developers, Power Users, and Information workers can take advantages of the Microsoft's AI and Cognitive Services offerings to build real-life enterprise solutions.

We will be covering the following Microsoft Learn Paths/Modules focused on AI and Machine Learning. This means that each session will be represented by a corresponding Microsoft Learn course or courses.

Please help spread the word via twitter ( @azuredatafest ), LinkedIn, etc. Thank you for registering and we look forward to seeing you all at the event!
